Health and Safety School Assembly

Building a new residential development on land located near a primary school in Eccleshill, Robinson Developments was keen to ensure the schoolchildren were well-informed about health and safety matters with regards to building sites.

So, before the end of summer term, the site manager at the development at Hutton Hall, went along to Cavendish Primary School in Eccleshill to give a talk to around 200 pupils aged between 7 and 11 years, at a school assembly.

Hutton Hall is a scheme by Gregory Robinson Developments, a joint venture partnership between Robinson Developments and the Gregory Property Group. The first phase of the development, which began on site earlier this year, is well underway. The first ten homes are due for completion in the Autumn.

The scheme is located opposite Cavendish Primary School – a large, thriving school serving a wide community in the Eccleshill area. The school is rated ‘good in all areas’ by Ofsted. The team at Hutton Hall are in regular touch with the school staff, and therefore welcomed the opportunity to speak to pupils at a school assembly.

John Robinson, Director at Robinson Developments, commented:

“We were pleased to work with the school to raise awareness of health and safety on building sites. Especially during school holidays, children need to understand the importance of staying away from construction sites and be aware of the dangers of site traffic always. We would like to thank the team at Hutton Hall, and the school for their time and commitment.”
